E.J. Graff to Join Longview
E.J. Graff, a prolific journalist, advocate, and author of the influential book, What is Marriage For? The Strange Social History of Our Most Intimate Institution (Beacon Press), will be joining Longview as a Fellow.
Graff, currently a Brandeis Women's Studies Research Center Resident Scholar and a senior correspondent for The American Prospect, most recently collaborated with former Massachusetts Lt. Governor Evelyn Murphy on her new book, Getting Even: Why Women Still Don't Get Paid Like Men—and What to Do About It, just published by Simon & Schuster.
Graff’s recent piece on Hurricane Katrina, "When the Saints Don't Go Marching In" reveals her skill and eloquence in articulating moral outrage at the human consequences of radical conservative policies. At Longview, she will be writing a new book on American moral values.
